In 2003 USA started war against Iraq or rather say,invasion of Iraq on the pretext that Iraq was possessing weapons of mass destruction and the Iraq regime was responsible /or aided 9/11.But later after the attack and killing of lakhs of Iraqis the American administration failed to give any conclusive evidence of weapons of mass destruction or any link of Iraq regime with 9/11 incident.
This irresponsible behavior of the USA turned the Iraqi land into a permanent war zone and the residents of the Iraq ,who were shown to be cheering with the fall of the Saddam Hussein administration may be crying now.The whole world witnessed this brute invasion as mute spectators or protested in like 'विरोध भी हो जाये और बड़े भईया भी नाराज ना हो '.
Coming to the current situation where whole world had been brought to standstill by deliberate or at-least irresponsible behavior of China,which have cost lakhs of lives and still counting.America which is one of the worst hit nations and counting the bodies now, cannot do any thing except ranting or talking of the sanctions.Even if we leave deliberate act,out of guess for the spread of corona virus,then also we can surely hold China responsible for irresponsible behavior.Timely information to the world about the virus would have alerted the world and may be ,today the situation would have been different.
But the question is what the most powerful nation America (as the people of the world say and feel)will do against China?I am not a astrologer but surely I can say that,it will be nowhere near ,what it did with Iraq,without any evidence.And the reason is the famous Indian maxim "समरथ को नहिं दोष गोसाई" .It's like Bollywood movies ,when two equal Mafia Don, bump into each other, at last they do mandawali (compromise). Because both sides don't want unnecessary losses.And those who are reading this here is the message,don't seek justice in this world,be strong or surrender to the strong.

Recently this news came from US but this news remains only news because it does not say any thing about any action on behalf of US to counter China. Whereas China refuted the claims being politically motivated.US taxpayers money was funded for gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. Instead of China or United States if there would have been a small or weak country the same would have been declared terrorist by stronger and powerful countries or may have been even attacked militarily.

This topic started from Irfan Bhai because his movie song "Oh Ho Ho Ho" from Hindi Medium had inspired this topic for writing.
When the song starts(as shown on music channels)Irfan Bhai starts dancing and the elite class present there stares and gossips like he was doing something very wrong.Even his wife switches off the lights to stop the dance and the embarrassment from the elite class.This again confirms that we all of are living or trying to live some other persons life.The society is dictating the terms as to how we have to conduct ourselves in the society.In following society's rules and norms our real self is lost.Only computers are not hacked, our minds have also been hacked by society hackers in their favour.

Dog has been the best friend of men since time immemorable. The qualities possessed by a dog makes a dog indispensable for men.This brings us to the topic of people who love dogs and are interested in keeping and taming dogs.If we go in more depth, there are categories and sub categories of people who are dog lovers and interested in keeping and taming dogs.Qualities of dogs can be summed up in these words- faithful,order compliant,seeking nod before every move and agreeing on everything without dissent.
First category of dog lovers are the people who are keen in keeping a dog for their love and affection towards the animal and they treat the dog as their family member.In the first category there is a sub category where in, the dog lover wants more authoritarian behavior than love towards the dog.In today's world when even children and family are not listening, taming a dog is a good choice to keep the ego alive.
Second category of dog lovers are actually the quality lovers of the dogs.They only love the qualities possessed by a dog i.e.its faithfulness and order complaint behavior.They instead of keeping a dog, treat humans under them like a dog.But there is a benefit of this category, the person under this type of dog lovers clearly knows his status.There is a process of symbiosis, the dog lover enjoying the qualities and the other person enjoying dog lover's partisan.Both have no emotional attachment to each other and they can ditch each other any time,depending upon the circumstances.Earlier Boss and employee relationship was a perfect example of this category,but nowadays it seems they are diluting the system.Nowadays Boss is called team-leader,you can call team-leader by his name and at some places, cabin system has been done away to show equality.Since author is not a employee,he cannot comment whether the situation has improved or not.
Sub category in the second category is very dangerous in nature as it can have shocking effect on both sides(the dog lover and the person under him).In this sub category the dog lover is consciously not treating the human being as his dog but is subconsciously searching and expecting the same qualities of a dog in the person.But the problem and irony is that the person under such a dog lover is totally unaware about his status as he regards the dog lover as his friend or brother.The problem arises when, any time, due to any reason, the person shows his dissent towards the dog lover and the the dog lover gets shocked as he never expects this from the person under him.Now the the dog lover consciously treats the person like a dog and the person gets shocked.Now it depends on the person under the dog lover whether he wants to continue with the new realities or move away.It also depends on the fact that how big the dissent was against the dog lover and whether dog lover will again accept the person after dissent or not.Moving away by the person under dog lover is not easy as entire circle of the dog lover cannot dissent the dog lover.The person has to take some tough decision and make his own path if he wants to move away.
And the advice,before getting close to some one please ensure that he is not a dog lover of second sub category.

The word exploitation has many meanings in different contexts but for human reference it may be defined as the act of using someone unfairly for your own advantage. Delhi Government had enhanced the prices of liquor by 70% without any explanation or justification.Responsible Drinking of alcohol is not a social evil as it has been tagged with.From time immemorial alcohol is being used by human beings for enjoyment.There has been no ancient tribe on this earth which had not been using alcohol for amusement since ancient times.But now the governments is using this amusement feature for exploitation of the poor people. The country in which action has been suggested against Income tax officers for suggesting tax on super rich due to corona pandemic,no one talking about unexplained tax on alcoholic beverages.
The people who are standing in long ques are not rich.They are only poor or middle class people who need some relaxation from economic and social fall out due to pandemic. But the government saw a great opportunity to exploit poor people by enhancing taxes up-to 70%.
In India alcohol consumption is still considered as social evil and that is why people never raise their voice whenever prices of alcohol is raised.In country where increase in prices of diesel and petrol by only one or two rupees sees huge demonstrations and backlash, there is not a single word from any corner even after increase of prices of alcohol by 70%. And it may be assumed that percentage of people using petrol and diesel would be almost same to people using alcohol.This shows the helplessness of drinkers.
Increase in prices of alcohol without any justification amounts to making forced entry into the pockets of poor people.

Once upon a time there was country which elected a king to rule the country with great enthusiasm. It was expected by the people of the country that the king will solve all their miseries. A great decision was taken by the king to stop the use of currency note with immediate effect, which caused lot of inconvenience to the people who had elected the king. But the people hailed the decision for ending corruption and viewed the decision against the rich whom they believed ,have amassed huge sum of money. People never came to know or analyzed the second part of the story that nearly 99.3% of the currency notes returned to the banks meaning there by that, either there was no black money or if there was it returned to its destination through legalized channels. Ironically, against public perception, not a single politician or businessman or known personality was indicted for keeping black money. Meaning there by, there was no black money and all politicians, businesses man, government officers were clean and clear.पब्लिक जानवरो की तरह अपना ही पैसा निकालने और जमा करने के लिए लाइन में लगती रही.हलाकि करप्शन खत्म करने की ये बहुत छोटी कीमत थी, लेकिन अफ़सोस करप्शन खत्म नहीं हुआ.
The above disaster was man made. The covid disaster is also man made but fortunately not in our country. What is more disastrous is the management of the the present disaster. Strictest lockdown was imposed in a sudden manner, leaving all the people in shock and remediless. Many were stranded far away from their homes without any help from any corner. Finances of middle class and poor people was reduced to zero with continuous extension of the lockdown. What happened with Migrant labor during lockdown was another tragedy wherein government failed to provide , even the basic necessity of life to them. RG warned the government in February itself about the implications of the virus but no one paid any heed to him, nor any preparations were made any time soon. I wonder what happened to twenty lakh crore package, as a single penny did not reach any person. Even moratorium on loan was just a deceit played by government to make it appear relief has been given but in reality moratorium will do more harm than relief. Interest on interest will be charged from the costumers for moratorium given. In Supreme Court Government had failed to take any stand on interest on interest . The king has rightly profounded the idea of atmnirbhar bharat, don't expect any thing from any one, be self dependent. But one thing I want to say that we were ready to die while working than being lockdowned and face financial constraints with no relief from government. I conclude that all this lockdown and restriction on movement was put to save the lives of elite.

Innocent lives were lost in the above-said incidents. There are many more incidents where-in innocent lives are lost, and article itself will become endless if all the incidents alike are mentioned. But the question arises what caused these deaths whether it was fire, water, electrocution or sheer negligence of the owners of the property. According to various people the answers may be different but according to me it is only greed and corruption which was the cause for the loss of innocent lives. Greed on part of owner of businesses and corruption on behalf of our so called public servants. So called because in actuality public is the real servant of these people.
Had the authorities taken prompt action against illegal hotel, illegal hospital and illegal coaching centre, than innocent live would have been saved. But it would have ill effect on the savings of owners and the public authorities. Complaints fell into deaf ears until tragedy strikes. Then again after some time everything is forgotten and greed and corruption again strives.
In short let’s talk about the complaint system of Delhi, our capital city. If you make a complaint today regarding some issue the same will forwarded to the same authority against whose inaction you have complained. He will give his convincing theory on the complaint and how it is not maintainable and there after your complaint will be closed unless and until you are free enough to to re agitate it before authorities. But why the authorities, police do not take any action on illegality on their own or even on the complaints? The reason is they are sufficiently remunerated by the persons who are doing illegal work. Then this is corruption. No not in the eyes of law because Prevention of Corruption Act is itself a very weak statue with even a weaker interpretation by Indian courts. Inaction by police and authorities is merely counted as negligence in duty, with no severe consequence, thereby lifting the morale of the delinquent officer.
One more policy has been there for the benefit of corrupt and culprits which has been implemented, where in Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) an apex governmental body in India responsible for promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability and prevent corruption in the country's public administration had issued circular and office memorandum to not take any action on anonymous complaints and same shall be filed/closed without any action. Even a warning was issued by CVC to departments for taking action on anonymous complaints(https://cvc.gov.in/files/complaints-pdf/COM%2000010.pdf). It means first you have to divulge your identity and then only your complaint shall be acted upon. For this you should be brave enough, fearless and ready to take risk on your life to highlight the corruption and to stand against the person against whom you are making complaint. Because your identity will be hidden by department is a myth, sooner or later it will reach the person against whom complaint has been made. It means if you know about any large scale corruption you cannot make any complaint about the same without coming to the front. Reasoning for this is given that anonymous complaints are fake and result in considerable loss of resources of the enquiry agencies.
Right to Information Act which was brought in to bring transparency in the system has been literally diluted to only to peace of paper. Public information officers are denying information on flimsy grounds and transferring the same to totally unrelated departments. Interpretation of RTI Act by High Courts and Supreme Court has further diluted the stringent provisions of the RTI Act. Orders of Information Commissioners being challenged in higher courts further delays the flow of information. Waiting period/delay in hearing of second appeals is another impediment in free flow of information.
Where minds are corrupt, which find immediate solution for breaking any provision of law to promote corruption, stringent laws are required to control the corruption. Accountability is necessary to fix responsibility of the corrupt. But without a strong will power of public and government corruption cannot be controlled.

Earlier I used to believe through my common sense and knowledge that minority means a group of people having one religion which is less in number to the other religious group of people, which is much more in number. This limited knowledge was developed in my mind and may be in other’s mind also, only due to televised advertisement of this word by various political parties. But while writing this article, I came to know from internet about a more correct definition/meaning of the word minority, which is as under :-
minority, a culturally, ethnically, or racially distinct group that coexists with but is subordinate to a more dominant group. As the term is used in the social sciences, this subordinacy is the chief defining characteristic of a minority group. As such, minority status does not necessarily correlate to population. In some cases one or more so-called minority groups may have a population many times the size of the dominating group.
From this I have safely concluded that being subordinate is the main feature of being a minority. Then comes the question who is minority in our country, whether it is Muslims Christians or the Sikhs. According to me and the above-said definition none of these. The new minority is the middle class struggling for livelihood, struggling for child’s education, struggling for medical expenses, struggling to live a full and content life but failing every time. But why all this struggle for middle class only, because they are not rich enough to afford a lifestyle and not poor enough to seek charity or government schemes. Government policies are only concentrated for the rich or the poor not for this minority. Price of gucci handbag is more than the annual income of the many middle class households. Why this sorry state of this new minority? Because this new minority is not united and is divided on the basis of caste, creed, religion, and region. When they vote they do not vote for their rights but they vote for above-said considerations. Their is no leader of their own. They are so pre-occupied with their struggles that they don’t have time to look upwards and ask questions. Its like cobweb the more you struggle the more you get entangled into it. Persons who break free this cobweb, move forward and forget about welfare of this minority. Lack of good government schools, colleges, and medical facilities are pushing this new minority into the clutches of private players, who are totally profit driven. The private education system, apart from selling education, are also selling uniforms, books and luxuries. Instances have come wherein private hospitals refuse to hand over body of deceased for non payment of bills, have been treating the dead to inflate bills and recommend/perform surgeries without requirement.
Without recognizing its minority status and its real power in unity, the subordinacy and struggle of this new minority will continue.

MY LORD! SAVIOUR OF CONSTITUTION?
Some days ago hot and burning topic was about same sex marriage. For which lordships have heard the parties tirelessly for almost ten days. Five best of the legal minds of the country was engaged in hearing a topic of elite in the name of Constitution, whereas more important issues of common people never reach even the threshold of the Top court, because common people cannot even meet(why to talk about hiring) the top lawyers of the country. Marriage which is essentially a customary law, wherein most important aspect is to get recognition from society are now being dealt by courts in the name of constitution.
Like 377 IPC was abrogated I also feel that 494 IPC and 5(i) HMA shall also be abrogated as the same is also against my constitutional right of freedom to have union with more than one person. How law can decide how many unions or marriage I should have? Like same sex can argue about their love for same sex against nature, than it is also arguable that I can love more than one person and can marry them all. I was was not there in 1955 how any one can decide my choice of union with any number of persons. Live in relationships have no limitations, you can live with ten partners or with people of same sex or opposite sex, but marriage has restrictions not according to law but also according to societal norms.
However the topic was not about marriage but wastage of precious judicial time on certain section of society with no respite or benefit for the poor nor having any benefit for the society at large . Should such a hearing be allowed at the cost of public exchequer when thousand of cases are pending in courts wherein more grave and important questions are to be answered.

LIVING IN A POLICE STATE SUPPORTED BY JUDICIARY
An order passed in a constitutional court, without any representation by or from the side of accused, which seriously prejudices her constitutional right. Can any any relief be granted to accused when state is not present in the hearing? not a chance. We are moving towards a police state wherein, police is getting full support of judiciary. Constitutional right of of accused has been suspended till next date of hearing i.e. for almost 14 days the accused is remediless because she will not be having the copy of First Information Report. She is totally unaware what case had been made by police against her. Protesters are being treated as terrorists. Reasons for not providing copy of FIR is judgement of Top Court. Are we really living in a democratic country wherein citizens rights are paramount, I doubt. Now only remedy available to accused is to approach top court, if the accused is rich enough to do so. These type of orders are a blot on legal system and I am really ashamed of being part of the same. Kindly don't relate this article with the accused of parliament protesters on dated 13 December 2023.

There was a village where a person was very influential and commanded respect from every villager. But one day there was some dispute in his family. Villagers came know about this dispute and he lost his repute in the locality, as villagers started saying behind his back 'aapna ghar sabhal nahi raha hume gyan de rahe hai ( he cannot control his own house and he is preaching us.)' But due to his fear and old reputation the people avoided to say this on his face. But the question is for how many days people will avoid saying this in open.
In a country where people say in any dispute that I will see you in the court, trust on judiciary and its system is very important for people. But some recent and past incidents have raised questions on the sanctity of judiciary. Incidents like passing of reasoned order after 5 months of retirement, asking of explanation from railways for not getting VIP treatment, conviction of former HC judge in contempt case and registration of corruption case against former HC judge, points out to the fact that, house is not in order. In times of social media, where people who do not know L of law and J of judiciary are also making comments on legal system. In these times it is necessary that impeccable image of judiciary be presented before the public, because people who are talking behind the back will sooner or later talk in front also. If this happens system will suffer. It is therefore necessary that own house shall be in order to command respect and authority.

THE MODERN MONEY LENDER
In olden times we have seen in movies that a lala(money lender) of village was involved in money lending and was engaged in torturing and taking away the land of the poor and also tried to abuse women on the pretext of recovering the money.
Legislations were brought by the government to end this money lending at high and exorbitant rate of interest to protect the vulnerable class from being exploited. Even land transfer/sale/purchase were prohibited from certain section to stop their exploitation.
I can’t say about the villages but in cities the money lending business is thriving at the cost of tortures, grabbing property and in some extreme cases driving the borrower to his death by suicide. That too under the nose of government and stamp from the legal system. The rate of interest is ranging from 2% to 5% per month bringing it to 24% to 60% per annum. And this business is thriving without any registration and payment of any tax to the government. The name of this loan is friendly loan. Vulnerable class of people are the targets, who do not get loan from nationalised bank and turn to these money lenders. Blank signed cheques, promissory notes and blank signed papers are taken from them on the pretext of securing the loan.
A large number of cases is being filed by modern money lenders under this head of friendly loan under section 138 Negotiable Instrument Act which involves criminal prosecution and carries jail term on conviction. In some case, one step further, if a loan is taken, all the property documents of borrower are executed in favour of money lender and transaction is shown as sale. If borrower fails to pay the loan amount, entire property of borrower is usurp by the money lender.
Another set of modern money lenders are the NBFC(NON BANKING FINANCE COMPANIES) authorised by the government to lend money on higher rate of interest compared to nationalised banks. Reason for going to NBFC is because nationalised banks have very strict regulations of granting loan, that only government employee, Vijay Mallya or Mehul Choksi type people can get the loan. If a home loan of Rs. 10 lakhs is taken for 20 years than there will be difference of Rs. 4-4.5 lakhs on interest payment between nationalised bank and NBFC, which is significant amount for poor borrowers. But only difference between NBFC and above-mentioned money lender is that the NBFC cannot go beyond the loan agreement and is controlled by Reserve Bank of India.

Are we really free: slavery
Born in independent India I was not able to see the colonial rule and also imperial times of slavery. But slavery still exists, only it has changed to a modern and concealed form. This modern form of slavery has a very unique feature it does allow the enslaved, to know he is into slavery. He celebrates his independence till his end or till his inner consciousness tells him so. By giving us illusion of voting we are made to believe that government is of the people, by the people, for the people. Today how many of us feel or believe this slogan, if you are a common man then only you will understand this. As a common man while visiting any government office/department, from their behaviour there, have you ever felt this that it is your government(of the people) formed by you(by the people) and most important people sitting there are there only for you and your welfare(for the people).
When this of the people, by the people, for the people government convoy passes you are made to wait for hours, when you are held in traffic jams government moves uninterrupted by stopping all the traffic. When you are struggling to keep your family in one or two rooms, the government is living in bungalows within posh locations. When your child had no place or park to play in, their houses are of the size of park. When you struggling for getting a home loan in lakhs, friends of government are getting millions and millions in loans. When your house is being auctioned for non payment of loan, government, friends loan are being written off or being restructured to suit their payment capacity. When your child is working hard and is preparing for some government exam some people of, of the people, by the people, for the people are working hard for leaking the paper.
But the topic was about slavery. How come the government flaws be counted as slavery. Slavery means the activity of legally owning other people who are forced to work for or obey you. Are private firms and companies not forcing you to work for longer hours and you are forced to obey them. The owner keeps the larger chunk of profits and you get meager portion just for survival. Their marriage goes on for months and you are forced to sell something or take loan for marriage. Is this social difference ever been possible without connivance of, of the people, by the people, for the people government. You invest your whole life working for others paying taxes to other just for a bare minimum living, that is modern day slavery. Death of a Chartered Accountant in Pune(Maharashtra) due to work related stress may be a cruel and extreme example of this modern day slavery.

The Cat Rat story
Once upon a time there was a place where in a lot of cats and rats resided. As we all know that rats are weaker than the cats therefore cats use to fully abuse their power and kill, harass and humiliate the society of the rats. Every time any rat was killed, harassed or humiliated, meeting was held between the rats to find out the solution, chaired by the old and experienced rats. Young and youthful rats out of anger, even suggested front to front fight (aamne saamne ki ladai) with cats, to regain their dignity and safety from the cats. But every time the older and experienced rats rejected this idea. In their belief the young rats were in no match with the cats. Every time meetings like this ended without conclusion. In one such meeting one younger rat suggested that at least they can put a bell in neck of cats so that whenever the cats arrived they can run away from cats’ clutches to save themselves. But who will risk his life to tie bell in cats neck. No one rose up to the occasion. The idea fell flat. Then one of the experienced rat suggested to raise a super rat by giving and diverting extra resources to him. All agreed to the idea and also agreed for sacrificing their food and resources for raising the super rat who can tie the bell in cats neck. The idea was celebrated between rats with wine and dine. But the words of super rat got out. One smart, young and strong rat was chosen for the task. All rats sacrificed their one time food, to be given to the super rat. Super rat grew stronger and stronger until one day, he became strong enough to face cats and tie the bell in their neck.
It was evening time, all the rats have gathered to give their blessings and good luck to the super rat. It was a great day, finally a solution was on its way for the oppressed rats, some rats even got emotional. After taking leave from the community super rat moved towards the fort of the cats. Super rat was ready for the confrontation with the cats on the front gate itself, but to his surprise the cat guarding the front gate welcomed him. And said that we were waiting for your august presence in our fort. When super rat entered he saw a lavish party was going on. He had never seen such a party and only heard of it. Inside the fort he was welcomed by the Head of the cats. His(Super Rat sitting arrangement was made next to the Head. For a moment the super rat forget his purpose for coming there. But soon he remembered his purpose and told this to the Head of cats. Cats’ Head said, will talk about this later on, since, now you are our equivalent, please enjoy the party. First time in his life the super rat, had seen this glamour and could not resist the offer and after two three drinks down, he even danced. He had never felt so powerful. Enjoying this power, in powerful corridors, where going itself was impossible, have made a wild dream come true. Wine was flowing, then The Head offered the super rat to have a close door meeting in private. As the doors were closed, what happened in meeting remains secret till now. However when the meeting started and the doors was closed music of party grew louder, as if the closed door meeting was a celebration for cats. Loud music was so loud it could be heard in the colony of rats. Some even say after closed door meeting super rat ate rat meat cooked in the party.
It is said that Rats are now, some how happy as they have gained their dignity. Now super rat has taken the role of cats, he only decides who will be killed, humiliated or harassed, now cats have no say in this. But some rats in low voice make allegation, that super rat is working under guidance of cats. Allegations are after all, allegations it can be made against any innocent. Rats are happy that their fate is in hands of their own brother who is not at least an outsider.

Are we social animals?
At least 41,431 people have been killed and 95,818 injured in Israel's war on Gaza. In Israel, the number of those killed in the Hamas-led attacks on October 7 was at least 1,139 while more than 200 people were taken captive according to Aljazeera news on internet. In Russia Ukraine conflict/war the death toll and injured number may have crossed 1 million. Numbers can be disputed but the death cannot be disputed. Every where some fight is going on between countries and groups. People are being killed no matter they are military or civilian. Men has no power to grant back life then who has given them this power of taking life that too on grounds that some things shall be in certain way.
Is humanity still alive? We talk about human rights, but is there any human rights existing in this world. The nations who consider themselves powerful are not saying any thing, not doing any thing to stop this killing of humanity. What is the use of such advancement and going to moon and dream of living there when we still decide/resolve our dispute by killing each other. Animals who have no education, only kill for food, out of fear or territory. But we are killing for passion because we want certain things in certain way. Are we animals or worst than them.
Co-existence has only become a word to be found in dictionary. In so many years of advancement of humanity, killing for territory has not stopped. The money spent on these wars and killings, if would have been spent on society development, it would have changed the whole world.

Democracy: Are We Really Ruled By Our Selection
When we have first learned the word democracy in the school, our teacher depicted a picture of democracy, as we were ruled by our choice and we ourselves ruled ourselves. And in democracy every thing was decided with our choice. But after seeing so many years of politics I now doubt that we are ruled by our selection. In smaller constituency we are ruled by majority and if we enlarge the prospect like a state we can even be ruled by minority.
For example in a constituency if there are 5 candidates namely A B C D E and the result is like this A-30% vote share, B- 20% vote share, C- 20% vote share, D- 20% vote share, E- 10% vote share, then A wins. But it is also clear that 70% people did not vote for A or if more brutally said 70% did not want A to win, but due to scattered voting He won and will enjoy uninterrupted 5 years of rule.
At larger level the situation becomes worst. For example if their are 11 seats in a state and six seats are required for majority then the distribution of vote share may be more disturbing. There are two major parties contesting- X and Y. Party X wins 6 seats with above said formula of its candidates getting 30% vote share and Y party getting 25% of vote share. Y party wins 5 seats with 50% vote share and X party getting 10% vote share. Obiviously X party will form the government. But what is the average vote share of both parties.
X (30x6)+(10x5) / 11 = 180+50 / 11 = 20.91% rounded off 21%
Y (50x5)+(25x6) / 11= 250+150 / 11= 36.36% rounded off 36%
It means 79% people did not want the X party to rule but it will rule. Round figures have been taken for easily understanding the formula. Some times the runner up has very less margin of losing even by 1 to 10 votes.
The word democracy may seem very attractive from outside but it is not such from inside as it is easily manipulated by political parties for coming to power.

WHERE MINDS ARE CORRUPT Part-II
You make a complaint against an illegality of any kind like encroachment on road, any illegal activity going on, any unlicensed factory running on, any of business running without licence, no action is taken and instead of taking any action the concerned authority justifies the illegality. What will be your first reaction about inaction and its justification. I think most will say due to corruption no action was taken and illegality was justified. But is it officially covered under Our corruption law, The Prevention of Corruption Act?
As per case laws it is not covered. And that is is tyranny of our law. When a common man can judge and say that it is corruption, but law says, no it is not corruption. And this protection to the corrupt by The Prevention of Corruption Act goes a long way by strengthening the corrupt and hollowing the society.
Only after some major incident happens than only authorities wake up from their deep slumber, but since the damage had already happened therefore to damage control some people are suspended from services(only to be reinstated later on when matter cools down) and the matter ends there. But no efforts are made to deep clean the system of corruption.
How this inaction corruption had effected our lives. Massive traffic jams due to encroachment on all major roads except VIP locality. Difficulty in walking due to encroachment on pavements for pedestrians. Frequent unauthorised and illegal construction, illegal polluting factories, fire incidents, the list is endless. But your complaints are a boon for corrupt as they extort more on these complaints from the defaulters.
Should deliberate inaction on complaints, on part of government authorities and officials be part of corruption under law? That you should decide and raise your voice.
The Legend
Shri Rattan Tata Ji had left for heavenly abode, but will always live in the hearts of people of India. There were many businessmen before him and will be many after him, but I doubt any one like him will be there. If any business has to look for, how to run a business with socialist approach rather than capitalist approach, it should be learnt from him. Today when all the companies and businesses are happily and successfully exploiting their employees for maximum profit and lay off are done at the drop of hat, at that time our Legend’s view was totally different. He had vocally criticized lay off by companies during the pandemic.
But one thing will always bother me, and that is his marriage. I know it is not the time to discuss this after he is gone. But I cannot hide my astonishment and grief for my Legend. Astonishment because such a legendary businessman did not take risk of marriage when doing business involves taking risk and tough decisions daily. Grief because he never experienced the feeling of parenthood which is one of the sacred feelings of life. And every capable man or woman shall experience it, biologically or through adoption.
But this also brings something legendary about him and his selflessness. When everyone today, is hoarding anything and everything for his or her legal heirs(sons, daughters), he did not bother for this aspect, left everything without attachment. I bow down to such a legend.

Where to get justice?
Recent news of CBI arresting two officers of Delhi police of Burari police station for asking a bribe of 1.5 crore and recieving part of it was shocking and eye opening. The first form/step of justice(hope of justice) available to a poor and common man is the police station and the police. Can we have faith in police when these type of incidents come to light. Can a poor man hope for free and fair inquiry /investigation by police, where his opponent is a rich and influential person? I as well as common people doubt.
Then where to go against it? To an over burdened, full of pendency and date loving/giving court, where in hope of justice years pass away. I am witness to applications for registration of FIR which are pending before courts, from years, where only simple question whether FIR is to be registered or not, is to be decided. For readers information FIR does not decide any rights of complainant or accused, but is only an information to police about commission of cognizable offence. Its registration through court may take years and then only investigation will start which may take more time. Can we expect justice when evidence and some times accused itself is lost due to lapse of time?
Last hope for poor and common man is God. But like police and court, God or so called his managers do not keep you in dark and under impression of equality before law. Before God rule is clear, common man stands in line and VIP have direct entry. The message is clear you will get what you want, but wait for your turn as VIPs cannot wait and their pleas have to be decided first.

KILLING CHILDHOOD FOR MONEY
While returning home saw children playing on a very narrow street. They would have been under 12 years or so. But why on street and why not in park or field? Because they are living in unauthorised colonies of Delhi, developed and created by greed of government officials, property dealers, politicians and inaction of judiciary. Delhi which is capital city of India, around 30% of population lives in unauthorised colonies as per reports. Unauthorised colony is different from slums only in one point i.e. unauthorised colonies has been developed on private land without permission and authorisation of government.
One may wonder how the hell they have come up without permission from government, were the government authorities sleeping. No they were not sleeping but collecting money from highly motivated property developers who were cutting agricultural land into plots without providing any basic facility. Rule of law was locked up and lawlessness was the new law. Slowly Delhi developed into hub of more than 1700 unauthorised colonies. For small greed permanent damage to environment and people was done. These colonies do not host any parks, trees or community centres and are only concrete jungle.
Children of all ages, find it difficult to find a place to play and vent their energy. Elderly have no place for their morning and evening walk. Childhood has been caged in rooms which will cause permanent damage to generations to come.

The New Realities
We all have heard the saying ‘jo dikhata hai wo bikta hai’. This one liner explains all about the new realities of the new digital world. Today we are giving more time to the screens and therefore we are totally in control, of what is being shown to us. We are forming our important opinions and beliefs based on what we are being served on the internet. Be it about politics, products, people or places. In this flow of huge information, the value of truth or lie has been lost. We don’t have time to individually verify the contents of the substance served to us on internet. Influencers, bloggers, fact checkers are influencing our mind. They have the skill and acumen, that they can make any narrative true. They are being paid heavily. I have seen intelligent people forwarding false messages without verifying its correctness and source. There is so much manipulation of facts, that it is very difficult or nearly impossible to verify correct information. Artificial Intelligence(AI) had complicated the matters further. Your face, voice, body can be easily be cloned in any photo or video.
Books are good for us, but slowly they are losing their significance. In today’s times please give peace to mind by reducing screen time. Please don’t jump to conclusions and take informed decisions. Everything is being spied about us through our electronic devices. You may have noticed getting immediate advertisement on your device, on the topic you have recently talked about. Technology will be a boon or curse, will totally depend on our laws and our behaviour towards it and will decide the outcome.

Unadulterated Love
While the boy was driving the bike the girl was feeding him something from behind with her hand. This immediately reminded of love stories going on in today’s times where friendship is done on mobile and breakup is also done on mobile. It seems Love is also in hurry to go somewhere or reach somewhere. There was a time where lovers were dead afraid of their families coming to know about their affair or love. And now sour relationships are turning into frequent cases of rape on false promise of marriage. Once there was a time when even meeting the lover was mission impossible and now lovers are residing together in live ins. Another problem which is there is the recording of intimate meetings between lovers, which may leak at some point of time deliberately or unintentionally, causing problem to both the parties. I will never understand why lovers record intimate moments, when recording device can never be secure.
In-spite of such modernisation of thinking, the relations are not working out, sometimes leading extreme cases of, blackmail, rape and even murder. Unadulterated/unconditional love is becoming rare. Now everyone has conditions or demand in a relationship leading the relationship to an agreement and deviation therefrom leads to complex situations.

Heartless citizens or fearful citizens
Recent rape incident in Madhya Pradesh by eight men of newly wed was a shocker and brought back the memory of a minor’s rape who roamed on the street of Ujjain city, seeking help from local residents but very little people helped. News articles and people on social media termed the people who didn’t help as heartless citizens. Were they really heartless citizens or fearful citizens?
What do you think in our culture, can’t we offer food or water or clothes to a needy person? We are ready and willing to do so every time but only if there is no threat or legal tangle involved in it. The percentage of helping people drops drastically, whenever, citizen feels, that they may be called by police for inquiry. In-spite of all the amendments, court rulings and police reforms, general public are not comfortable and sure about how they will be treated by law agencies, if they are found involved with the victim.
Professional begging, asking for money by telling fake stories of losing money at railway station and bus stand, using women and children to barge into houses for theft and loot, threat of implication in false sexual cases, corrupt police system and other factors have drastically reduced the will of citizens to help. Now victims are seen as suspects of crime. Where people are buying food for animals and birds why won’t they help a needy. But the trust has been lost. No one wants to get into trouble for helping anyone. Fake victims are regularly diminishing the trust of people into real victims. In coming times this don’t care behaviour of people is only going to increase.

KILLING THE INSTITUTION
Institution of Marriage is there since time immemorial. But slowly this institution under new laws and thoughts is crumbling. Marriage need patience from both husband and wife to continue. But this virtue is simply vanishing from every one’s life. Due to lack of patience, couples are frequently going to police and courts. And irony is this that, couples who fail to keep patience at home and are rushing to courts, are patiently waiting to get justice in court for years.
Except violence or adultery every other problem or complaint of any couple is pardonable and can easily be resolved within four walls of home. Couples fail to understand that difference of opinion is a common thing. There is difference of opinion in siblings, with mother and father and even with best friends then why it is unacceptable between spouses.
Live in relationship, misuse of section 498A IPC, abolition of adultery law, abolition of section 377 IPC, petition for marital rape, are all the real threats to the institution of marriage. If the breakdown of marriages and divorces continue at such a fast rate sooner institution of marriage will disappear. And there will be professional relationship, where there will be only agreement and contract, between couples for living together on terms and conditions.

Rising Gold prices
Gold price has touched nearly Rs. 81,000/- . In India gold is not an investment or luxury but largely an emotion, a sentiment, a symbol of well being. But the rising prices of gold have very badly impacted the middle class. As buying of gold articles have become a distant dream. Marriages in India are highly dependent on gifting gold to the bride as her asset. But due to high price of gold it has become difficult to give even basic jewellery articles to the bride. Government shall take positive steps to control the rising prices of the gold. It shall also make it tax free if given as gift for the bride in a marriage.

A LIFE FILLED WITH COMPARISONS
From the day we are born, we enter into a life of comparisons. First comparison starts at home with parents and the relatives comparing children with other children. This comparison may seem harmless from the side of the parents, but it has a very deep impact on the child. Who many times takes this opinion and comparison about himself as true. Then when we reach the stage of school, where this comparison becomes more toxic. Teacher always compares poor performers in studies with first comers. Instead of this comparison being motivational, it is generally demoralising and humiliating. The child who has seen comparison from his/her home could not raise objections to the comparison. But slowly this comparison raises an unseen boundary wall of limitation around the person, losing his confidence in himself. From this time whenever the person takes any step forward towards an opportunity he starts comparing himself to others and hangs in self doubt and a person more confident seizes the opportunity.
Slowly this disease of comparison enters us and after we are affected by it, we thereafter do not require any one to compare us but we ourselves start comparing ourselves with others. This disease has one more feature we generally compare ourselves, only with a person on higher pedestal without seeing our good side, that we are better off then many. This comparison disease leads us to an unsatisfactory life where we are never happy.
We compare size and locality of our house, our income, our vehicle our holiday destination, our appearance. In short all the things that are comparable. Despite having all the things to lead a happy life, due to this comparison disease we lead a life of discontent. We compare ourselves with others(upward or downward) but fail to understand the difference between, living standard, approach towards life, family background, morals and other aspects of others life. We compare our children by ignoring their talents. Material possession cannot be compared under any circumstances unless all the factors are same. We punish ourselves and our loved ones by doing comparison.
We can break this comparison chain with the faith and believe that we are the best creation of god/ universe in its own form and are unique in ourselves, not comparable to any one, any thing in this world. Our material possessions do not, cannot decide our worthiness our happiness in this world, and we have to develop this faith and believe to lead a life of contentment.

WHERE OPINION MEETS WITH FIR
Some X user made comments on decline of business in Goa tourism. An online debate started therein, with different people sharing their different opinions and experiences. Between all this, news also came about Goa government filing criminal complaint with the police against the X user. MERA DESH BADAL RAHA HAI means any criticism of government or the system may land you in court or jail. One of the most precious constitution right i.e. Freedom of speech has been lost somewhere. Instead of replying the X user with data, government replied with criminal complaint.
Apart from this example, however there is another aspect of false or misleading opinions. Social influencers today can cause significant loss to the other party with their opinion within a short span of time, whether it be stocks, business, any product, restaurant or government. Then what should government do, if it feels negatives opinion against it is false or paid or motivated. It should go with opinion of former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud who said "Answer to sunlight is more sunlight. Not to suppress what happens in the Court.” Government should also not try to suppress, free speech by FIRs and Criminal case, but with more robust data and exposure of motivated and paid writers, if any. As freedom of speech is of paramount importance and is one of the identifications of a vibrant democracy.

Story of X Y Z
Many cases of grievances are being solved immediately on internet and if it was be taken to police or authorities in a routine manner, there would have been no guarantee for its solution. Recently a person in United States reported an abuse on X of his father by goons for a property in Varanasi. Immediately, police lodged a report, which it was initially delaying as alleged. However it later turned out to be a family dispute. This shows the power of technology, at-least the report was lodged. X represents power of technology and its users. Now we can say for example Y stands for money and power. People with Y factor have, somehow more guaranteed results in their favour, unless and until any other strong Y factor takes over. Z stands for people with no money, power and digital expertise. They are law abiding citizens and the only law they break, I think is jumping a red light or drinking outside to escape wrath of wife. But when it comes to turn of law to reward their law abiding nature they are the worst hit. Without X and Y factor they are rebuked by authorities in their time of need. X Y Z people will be knowing this realities so the story ends here.

INFECTIOUS: CAN BANGLADESH TURN INTO ANOTHER PAKISTAN
Frequent change of power is common in Pakistan and democracy runs only for name sake. But the recent developments in Bangladesh was astonishing, as the head of the country who was chosen through democratic process was forced to leave country. However it was equally surprising that world powers have not reacted strongly to the development. But is this sudden change of power, by force, a ringing alarm bell for India? Can’t be said at this stage as India has also not reacted in strong words for the sudden change of power. But the recent arrest of a priest has forced India to criticise the Bangladesh Government on minority rights.
But the real question here is whether Bangladesh can become another Pakistan for India and rest of the world. Will this trend of forcefully removing Government become common for Bangladesh in near future. Will soft extremism now, will take form of terrorism in future? Is culture of Pakistan infectious, which has infected Bangladesh also?
From another angle there has been serious allegations against Ms. Sheikh Hassina for compromising the election process. Judiciary head was also threatened and forced to step down, which raises eyebrows on the independence of judiciary. Our generation may not be fully aware but Independence to every country has come with a cost. This Independence shall not be compromised for momentary gains, otherwise Independence day will be there but independence would be lost.

Marriage Failures
Recent suicide death of the Bengaluru techie due to alleged harassment by in-laws have raised the serious issue of misuse of the matrimonial, maintenance and women harassment laws. Our legal system is well aware about the misuse of the law, however at the starting stage, it is very difficult for any person or the judge to determine who is on the wrong side. It needs detail evidence on part of parties, to reach a conclusion, because the judges are not gods(however public expect them to be like that). But during this determination(who is wrong) period which generally, may run into years, either of the parties suffer who has not done any wrong. Laws were enacted to protect the vulnerable and weak women, who were earlier beaten and tortured and even burned for dowry. If we go back 15-20 years back police files were filled with dowry killings and some were even shown as accidents. Married women were abandoned on will by husband and in-laws without providing for her maintenance or residence. Strict laws was enacted to rein in the culprits and raise the security and well being of the women. But after some time some people started misusing them. Earlier, in 498A IPC cases, husband and his whole family were sent to jail, and it took them months to get bail and come out. This misuse became so rampant that courts have to intervene and law was relaxed and arrest in 498A IPC cases was made rare.
However the maintenance law for the wife remains. Some concessions has been given to the women for jurisdiction of the place of filing so that she can file case from her place of residence, but this clause is also sometimes being misused to harass the husband and in-laws.
It means then, the laws must go. No it can’t be like that, because in India women are still a vulnerable class, being exploited at every stage. Still in-spite of being educated, most of the women are home-makers. Leaving by husband without maintenance can leave them destitute.
Then what is the way forward. Pre nuptial agreement is the only solution I see for these problems. None of the parties can ask for, what is not written in the agreement. Because marriage as an institution is already dying, at least we can save people dying from it.

WAS AMERICA RESPONSIBLE FOR FALL OF SHEIKH HASINA.
As we all know that Bangladeshi Prime Minister Ms Sheikh Hasina was ousted by a movement of students, against some decisions taken by her. But what we do not know is that Ms Hasina had accused America of meddling with the political affairs of Bangladesh. She had also accused America for trying to force her, to give an island to the control of America, to which she has not bowed down. Is there some truth in the allegations of former Prime Minister Ms. Hasina? World powers like America can greatly influence the political scenario of of a developing and poor country with their money and muscle power. A world leader like Hasina will have not raised such a grave accusation, if their have no truth in it. America had been known in the past to interfere in the internal affairs of the countries without jurisdiction.
But another truth is that, no one can interfere or influence you if you are strong. Ms Hasina latest rule was marred with allegations of corruption and rigging of the election poll process. Had she been in the hearts of people, her ouster would not have been easy. But the people of Bangladesh will have to remember that their independence had come with a cost of many lives sacrificed, so they should not get influenced by external sources. A democratic country shall no run on interim government and its decisions. Elected government shall be formed at the earliest. Other nations should order inquiry at their level to know the truth behind Ms Hasina allegations and reprimand America if some truth is found in the allegation. If silence is kept now, this influence can reach anywhere in any form which is not good for sovereignty of any nation.

Diabetes: An irreversible disease
When diabetes starts first thing in life which goes is the taste of life. Most of the people are fond of sweet taste but after suffering from this disease every taste bud has to be controlled and we have to leave many taste carvings of life. Another very serious and long time effect of this disease is that, it slowly damages every organ of the body. Many people offer its permanent cure but I have never heard anyone being fully cured from it.
Like this disease, another disease is gripping our nation, of which Sh. Mohan Bhagwat(RSS) has highlighted, that is searching for temples in every masjid is not the solution. Religious sentiments are important, but by raking issue of Mandir Masjid here and there, will only give rise to separatism and discontent among the Muslim community. This separatism and discontent is like diabetes of the society, as first, the good taste and social fabric of the society will be lost. And slowly thereafter it will damage various organs of our Nation. Past of any country/ nation cannot be undone. We cannot drive a car forward by looking into the rear mirror. For our and our Nation’s bright future, its important that we think of future and ideas of growth. And we have also to see that, there will be little or no difference between us and Pakistan and Bangladesh who are exploiting the minority.
We follow the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which is a Sanskrit phrase that means "the world is one family". It is a core principle of Hinduism and is found in the Maha Upanishad and other Hindu texts. The phrase is a call to prioritize the collective well-being over individual interests and to consider the entire universe as a family. As a nation also we should follow this principle for our all round growth, development and contentment.
